Hurricane IKE is on his way to our area!!

It Hurricane season again and for those of us in Texas near the Gulf Coast we are ready IKE! We are experienced Hurricane survivors. By now most of us have boarded up our windows, filled up our gas tanks, got cash from our bank accounts and plenty of water, flash lights and candles.

For those that want to track the storm hurricane Ike go to www.abc13.com for local up to date info.

Expecting the lights to be out for a couple of days we have plenty of food we can make without electricity and we plan to grill plenty so we stocked up on charcoal. Once the rain ends we should be able to cook outside at least we hope so. Dry ice is another great thing we are using to keep our cold goods cold for a while after we loose electricity.

While hurricane's aren't fun I find it wonderful to see so many people come together to help each other out, does it always take a storm to bring people together to help one another? I would like to believe most of us love to help and want to help people all the time with or without a hurricane to call us to action.

While you are waiting for the storm to pass over why not have some fun shopping for the strongest scented custom made candles the most super scented candles you will love to burn. We may not have electricity during or after the storm but the moment life gets back to normal you can bet we will be working hard pouring candles for our candle loving customers, working to get the orders we received during the storm out the door and in our customers hands. During the storm our website will remain up and the storm will not effect our site so we encourage you to keep on candle shopping.

To all in Hurricane Ike's way be safe and god bless.
